The BTC bus route and timings will also be explained in detail at the bottom of this page. Main campus buses These buses serve only the main campus, which has Kent Ridge MRT station (Circle line). A1/A1E - A loop around the NUS campus. (1),(2),(5),(6),(7) A2/A2E - A loop around the NUS campus, in the opposite direction to A1/A1E. (1),(2),(3),(5),(6),(7) [* A1E & A2E are the respective express services of A1 & A2 - but the main stops are covered by all 4 services.] B - C - A route from NUS-Science faculty to Kent Ridge bus terminal. (2),(3),(8) D1 - A route from University Town to NUS-Business faculty. (3),(4),(5),(6) D2 - A route from University Town to Kent Ridge MRT. There are bus-stops on both sides of the road serving buses in both directions, with the exceptions of stops (4) & (7). These are the points of interest at the 7 main stops: (1) Kent Ridge MRT station; NUH (National University Hospital); One@Kent Ridge shopping mall. [* Plug-in@Block 71 is a 10 minute walk from this bus-stop, across two overhead bridges.] (2) University Health Centre; NUS sports facilities & stadium; Yusof Ishak House; Ridge View Residential College. (3) NUS Natural History Museum; University Cultural Centre; Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music; NUS-Engineering drive 1. (4) University Town; CREATE Tower; UTown Residences [* NUS High School of Mathematics & Science; Casa Clementi HDB complex; and New Town Secondary School are all between 7-12 minutes walk from this bus-stop.] (5) NUS Central Library; NUS-Engineering faculty; NUS-DE faculty (6) NUS-Business faculty; NUS-Kent Ridge hall; NUS-Sheares hall [* Institute of Southeast Asian Studies; Heng Mui Keng Terrace; and the condominiums & places of worship along Pasir Panjang road (Singapore Bible Baptist Church, The Tabernacle, Masjid Hussain Sulaiman, etc.) are all between 6-10 minutes walk from this bus-stop, walking past Stephen Riady building.] (7) Prince George's Park Residences; NUS-King Edward VII hall (8) Kent Vale condominium; The Japanese School [* Clementiwoods condominium is a 9-minute walk from this bus-stop.] BTC (Bukit Timah campus) bus By far the most useful bus for the general public, this bus serves the Botanic Gardens campus of NUS. Perhaps more of concern is the fact that it stops both at, and opposite, Botanic Gardens MRT station (Circle line / Downtown line). It can thus provide you with a free trip from Botanic Gardens MRT to anywhere in the main NUS campus and around. It serves (3),(5),(6),(7) and other minor stops only in this direction, before exiting the main campus en route to Bukit Timah. It will serve the bus-stop [41029] across the road from Botanic Gardens MRT station before turning into the Bukit Timah campus. After leaving Bukit Timah campus, it will serve the bus-stop [41021] directly outside Botanic Gardens MRT station, before returning to the main campus and terminating at (3). Besides the the bus-stop [41021] is the northern gate entrance to the Botanic Gardens. The following places of interest are also within walking distance from this bus stop: 2 minutes: Cluny Court shopping mall and Serene Centre 4 to 10 minutes: Apartments and detached houses along Farrer road 6 to 10 minutes: Apartments and detached houses along Tan Kim Cheng road, Duke's road, Queen's road, King's road 7 minutes: Shops and cafés along Bukit Timah road (Bike Haus, Crown Centre, King's Arcade) 9 minutes: Coronation Shopping Plaza Across the road, the following places of interest are within walking distance from the bus-stop [41029]: 1 minute: College Green Hostel 4 minutes: Adam Food Centre 4 to 7 minutes: Detached houses along Dunearn road, Dunearn close, University road, University walk 6 to 10 minutes: Apartments & places of worship along Adam road, and the cul-de-sac portion of Shelford road (accessible via a small pathway) 7 to 10 minutes: Detached houses along Kheam Hock road, Jalan Tempua, Trevose crescent |

The A1 and D2 buses serve this bus-stop [18331], which is just outside the Kent Ridge MRT station, Exit A. The next bus-stop in this direction would be the NUS-Science faculty. Across this road, another bus-stop [18339] accessible by an underpass is served by A2 and D2 buses. This route goes in the opposite direction, and the next bus-stop would be the Prince George's Park terminal. Main stop (3)
This bus-stop [16161] serves all NUS shuttle buses mentioned on this page except for A1/A1E. It is also both the first and last stop for the BTC bus. The BTC bus also serves the bus-stop across the road [41029], which is accessible by the overhead bridge as seen in the photo.
